HitchSource.com is the best! Super selection. Great Price. Lightening Fast Shipping. Ordered it Weds., had it that Friday. As for the hitch, it was exactly as described. Installed it by myself in a little over 40 minutes. 35 minutes may be cutting it a little too close. Fishwire is awesome, made inserting the spacers/bolts a breeze. As for the muffler hangers, take the advice that was written with previous reviews...use a little liquid wrench and they come right off/on. I couldn't be happier. Hitch is heavy duty and looks good too!

This hitch fit perfectly. The difficulty in mounting it was the instructions.

1. No guide on using the fish-wire. From my experience, I was able to figure out what to do, but it can be a problem.

2. This is definitely a 2-person installation. Trying to hold up the hitch and avoid pushing the bolts back up into the frame is very difficult. Plus, starting the nuts onto the bolts is not easy either.

I took a twist-tie and wrapped one around each of the bolts as close to the frame as possible to keep the bolts from going back into the frame. Once the bolt was through the hole, I pulled on the wire-tie to help keep the bolt from spinning while I threaded on the nut.

I then removed the twist ties befoe tightening the nuts.

I made the mistake of tightening everything before checking the alignment of the car's towing loop with the center U-bolt holes. I had to loosen everything then move the hitch over about an 1/8 of an inch to get it to align.

Overall I am very pleased with the product and feel confident it will serve me well for as long as I own the car.

Best price on the internet, by the way.

This hitch went on without a hitch. Installation took only minutes. Not only were all of the parts in the box, the holes in the CR-V frame and the hitch lined up perfectly, the fishwire worked well and the directions were spot on.

Shipping was remarkably FAST. No Damage. Instructions a bit too generic. Step 5 should be done before step 4

Note to CRV owners - The terminology and pictures of the frame holes in the instructions do not match the CRV frame. The hitch fits fine, but make sure you use the large frame hole and the smaller one towards the rear of the car. The "front" frame hole is not used. I noticed my mistake afterward and spent a bit of time trying to "unfish" the hardware out of it.

Also, I installed this hitch by myself and it is very unwieldy to match it up to the hardware that is danging out of the holes. I found that if you attach the hitch to the tow hook using the u-bolt first (Step 5). the hitch hangs nicely and is easy then to align to the hardware on the frame...
