This bike rack performs just as it was designed to do. Holds both of my 29ers secure and gets them where I'm going without a scratch or worry they will fall off. It would be nice if there was a way of locking the frame arms that would be built into the arms themselves, and also straps with the wheel trays, but for the price the bike rack is worth every bit of the cost.

Excellent bike rack. Very stable, and holds both bikes where they do not move, at all! Very pleased. Others have asked me about it, and I have referred them to the website. Delivery was very quick, and the quality of the rack is such that one would think it would cost much more. I have it on my Mazda 3 sedan, and there is plenty of room between the frame and the car bumper. It can be locked as well, which is a nice feature if you have to run in the store real quick. The main bolt that attaches it to the hitch is a threaded bolt. This is nice because it is not easy for the would be thief to remove, but allows me the option to put it in my trunk when I hit the bike trails. It also keeps the rack sturdy. Not necessarily for the off road car rides though, and it states that as well. I travel hours at times on the interstate to get to the rides, and I am very confident in the stability, and security of the rack. I carry 2 Cannondale road bikes on it.Excellent product!

Thank you for offering a great product at a reasonable cost. Wanting to transport our bikes relatively short distances to riding trails and also wanting to take them from Ohio to our winter home in Florida, we were searching for a sturdy and hassle-free solution. We are in our 60's, and I, being female, assembled the Swagman XC 2 Bike Rack by myself in about 20 minutes and then put it on the minivan hitch to surprise my husband. Very simple and stress free. And it only gets simpler!! Lifting the bikes such a short distance to put them on the rack and securing them with the ratchet arms could not be easier. We have a 2" hitch and this bike rack is very secure with no play. Not liking to waste money, we had done extensive research on the different bike racks and are so pleased we didn't succumb to less costly models. We couldn't be more pleased..........easy to assemble, very sturdy and well made, holds our bikes firmly, and the hitch takes about 2 minutes to put on or remove. Again, thank you for a great bike rack.....the price seems very minor now.

I purchased the Swagman hitch bike rack for two main reasons: 1. I did not like putting my bike inside my GMC Jimmy; and 2. I could not lift my bike high enough for most all of the other trailer hitch mount bike racks. I am very pleased with the Swagman hitch rack. It was easy to assemble with very few tools. It is lightweight enough that I can easily lift it and get it positioned into the receiver hitch on the SUV. (I can still open the upper back window on the SUV hatch for access, too.) The wheel adjustments and the hook adjustments are easy to move and position for the size of the bike. I have a "girls" bike so most racks did not have holders that held the bike in position without purchasing a "bike bar" to go across from the seat to handlebars. With the Swagman, the hook comes right down into a secure position on the low bar of the girls bike. It is easy to lift the bike the approximately 1 foot off the ground and put it onto the wheel holders. A couple bungee cords later I am ready to go!

The Swagman XC is a good sturdy bike rack. It's very stable at freeway speeds. It is very quick and easy to load and remove bikes. You can lock the movable bar clamp with a very small lock but personally , if I were leaving my bike on the rack out in a public place for a few hours, I would attach a secondary lock from the bike rack directly to the bike frame.

Great bang for the buck. Needed to carry a step through frame and cross bar frame bike. Did not like the bike adapter bar idea with the single bar type hitch bike carriers. This bike rack is very solid and an excellent design. The bikes load and unload in seconds. With the center bar hold down the bikes cannot touch each other and are held solid. Could not ask for a better solution for carrying two bikes and the price is great also.
