Excellent bike rack. Very stable, and holds both bikes where they do not move, at all! Very pleased. Others have asked me about it, and I have referred them to the website. Delivery was very quick, and the quality of the rack is such that one would think it would cost much more. I have it on my Mazda 3 sedan, and there is plenty of room between the frame and the car bumper. It can be locked as well, which is a nice feature if you have to run in the store real quick. The main bolt that attaches it to the hitch is a threaded bolt. This is nice because it is not easy for the would be thief to remove, but allows me the option to put it in my trunk when I hit the bike trails. It also keeps the rack sturdy. Thank you for offering a great product at a reasonable cost. Wanting to transport our bikes relatively short distances to riding trails and also wanting to take them from Ohio to our winter home in Florida, we were searching for a sturdy and hassle-free solution. We are in our 60's, and I, being female, assembled the Swagman XC 2 Bike Rack by myself in about 20 minutes and then put it on the minivan hitch to surprise my husband. Very simple and stress free. And it only gets simpler!! Lifting the bikes such a short distance to put them on the rack and securing them with the ratchet arms could not be easier. I purchased the Swagman hitch bike rack for two main reasons: 1. I did not like putting my bike inside my GMC Jimmy; and 2. I could not lift my bike high enough for most all of the other trailer hitch mount bike racks. I am very pleased with the Swagman hitch rack. It was easy to assemble with very few tools. It is lightweight enough that I can easily lift it and get it positioned into the receiver hitch on the SUV. (I can still open the upper back window on the SUV hatch for access, too.) The wheel adjustments and the hook adjustments are easy to move and position for the size of the bike. The Swagman XC is a good sturdy bike rack. It's very stable at freeway speeds. It is very quick and easy to load and remove bikes. You can lock the movable bar clamp with a very small lock but personally , if I were leaving my bike on the rack out in a public place for a few hours, I would attach a secondary lock from the bike rack directly to the bike frame.

Great bang for the buck. Needed to carry a step through frame and cross bar frame bike. Did not like the bike adapter bar idea with the single bar type hitch bike carriers. This bike rack is very solid and an excellent design. The bikes load and unload in seconds. With the center bar hold down the bikes cannot touch each other and are held solid. Could not ask for a better solution for carrying two bikes and the price is great also.
