Overall good, directions could be better, including better instructions on feeding the bolts with the fishwire that is provided. I still would recommend purchase to other Honda CR-V owners.

Great hitch!! This was the second Curt hitch I have owned-installed. The first CR-V was totaled and the insurance payed more for the towing package than I payed for the hitch and shipping! Installs in less than 25 min.

A helpful hint for installing. Once you get the bolts placed in the frame, tape a piece of string or fishing line around the bolt that is long enough to guide the bolt back through the hitch. Placing the hitch up to the frame is likely to push one or more of the bolts back up into the frame.

The installation was quite simple and I liked the no drill part of this hitch, it seems solid and firm. It was shipped timely. If I need another hitch, I know where to look.

Installed on a 2005 CR-V.

Very easy installation - the most difficult part was unhooking the exhaust hangers. You'll want to have various length socket extensions for the torque wrench as there's limited clear space between the muffler and bumper to fit the wrench. Worked perfectly when hauling 4 bicycles down to North Carolina. Great hitch at a great price.

Received the hitch very quickly. Installation on the CRV was a snap. The hardest part was getting the exhaust hangers off, but a little silicone spray on each of the hangers made things real easy. Not being an expert, I think it took closer to 45 - 50 minutes rather than 30, but for the $100+ saved by doing it myself, well worth it.
