The 2011 GMC installation instructions have you start on the rear passenger side where the exhaust pipe make installation harder, at least on the diesel. I would suggest you start on the driver side which is easier and makes the process faster. There are extra holes in the bracket that are not used in this application and it would be nice if you were advised of this so you don't try to use the wrong holes.

The rear ones went on just fine. I had Torklift tiedowns on my 2001 truck (sold earlier this year), and now trying to install them on my 2011 truck.
The rear ones fit just fine, but having a problem with the front driver's side. Have been in touch with Joel at Torklift and he will find a solution.
