This Curt trailer hitch exceeded my expectations. It was very easy to install (15 minutes) and the hitch appears to be very strong for a Class I rated hitch. I like that it has an extra plate welded to the top and bottom of where the receiver attaches to the cross tube which should considerably strengthen the hitch. I also found that while I was looking for a bike rack to use with the hitch, several bike rack vendors recommended the Curt hitch.

Very solid. looks great on my Prius. Regarding instructions: If you are installing and you are not in a shop you don't have to take the exhaust hanger off. I ended up taking the metal piece and the rubber part together by just moving the exhaust itself to the sides (you have to really push it). On the left side make sure you don't drop the bolts inside the undercover!
