The Comfort Ride Series includes two separate products 1) Comfort Ride Shock Absorber and 2) Comfort Ride Slipper Springs system. These systems enable your trailer to glide smoothly over the roughest roads! The Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers may be used on their own, but when used in conjunction with the Comfort Ride Slipper Springs, this two part system will greatly reduce the causes of

• Chucking - towing vehicle is rocked forward and aft when the trailer goes over uneven pavement (dips, frost heaves and the infamous bridge expansion joints)
• Axle roll-up - caused during braking where the trailer's rear tires are lifted enough to cause a loss in traction
• Suspension rebound - where one tire goes over an obstacle, the trailer tips sideways. After the tire clears the obstacle, the leaf springs and the trailer rebound like a pogo stick.

Comfort Ride Shock Absorber System

The Comfort Ride Shock Absorber system eliminates trailer bouncing and porpoising. The adjustable mounting brackets create the necessary space to install shock absorbers on your trailer. The shocks are mounted nearly vertical to have the leverage to limit up and down motion on both compression and rebound. The shocks are angled at 15 degrees to the outside which enables trailer weight to be centered over the tires, helping control sway by limiting lateral suspension travel and side to side rocking. The shock system installs in approximately 3 hours. The Comfort Ride Shock system comes with heavy-duty, nitrogen charged shock absorbers and mounting hardware highlighted in orange below.

• Most axles have an identification tag with the axle capacity and axle diameter
• Measure the axle diameter or circumference
• Contact the RV manufacturer. They can decode your VIN to determine axle diameter and capacity
