This hitch was so easy to install and exactly as it was described. Looks great on my 2011 Honda CRV and ready to install my Swagman Bike Rack and take a trip.

Bought this thing after reading the reviews and agree with all the positive said about it.
It took me 1.5 hours to install it by myself (a total of 2 hands) at night but in all fairness, it took me about 3 hours to put together an Ikea desk so no, I'm NOT the standard.
Here are a few suggestions I can give:
1) It's possible to do it alone but a second pair of hands would have saved me a good 30 minutes!
2) Spray a little soap water on the exhaust hangers and they come of very easily (could have saved 20 minutes and a t-shirt had I done this right away).
3) Be patient and exact when screwing the bolts into the frame. I suggest you do it once without the hitch so that you don't spend 30 minutes cursing the world because aligning the bolt with the hitch and the frame is quite the surgical procedure.
I did feel accomplished once I figured everything out and if I can do, so can you!
Would I do it again? Absolutely!

The hitch and wire harness installed very easy on our 2008 CRV this is a well built hitch. The only suggestion I have for those of you installing this on a vehicle that has been through a winter or two have a 10mm tap on hand to retap the holes for the 10mm bolts as this well make the install so much faster with the holes retapped. I did this so the bolts went in as though it was a new vehicle and with ease.
