I have a 2005 GMC 2500HD 4 door shortbed diesel. This was such an easy bolt-on with no stock valance trimming. This was my concern, but don't worry. Looks good and meets the valance perfectly. You can keep your front tows hooks too, just remember to use the additional bolts and conical grip washers. This was a tad confusing with the rather poor directions. Can't wait to use it! Best price and super fast shipping!

I just installed the Curt front mounted hitch, on my 2005 Avalance 2500 truck!
There was no drilling and only a small set of slots needed to be cut for the frame brackets..
There is no listing for the avalanche 2500 but this one fit perfectly, and it used the original tow hooks for the bolts to attatch to!
This was a great price on a great product, and I'm telling everyone about hitchsource.com

I just installed the Curt front mounted hitch on my 07 GMC Sierra 2500 Classic. Very easy install, total time to install was around 40 minutes and it did not require cutting the lower facia. Now I have a place to mount the bikes when towing the camper. Very fast shipping from HitchSource, Ordered it online on Sunday and it was on the truck Wednesday evening. Very pleased the HitchSource.
