I mounted the hitch on a 2007 Mazda Pickup ( same as Ford Ranger).

The instructions were pretty good, but would offer up the following -

Double check the bolt head size on the bumper brackets that have to be
loosened / removed - They were 18 mm on my truck - this is an oddball
socket in most socket sets that is often not included in the set - I was
all set up, and luckily my gearhead neighbor was home with the appropriate socket - a wrench would have been difficult.

If mounting on a truck with a step bumper, loosen the front bumper bracket as well to facilitate removal of the J clip.

Other than that, a real nice looking final product.

Hi, the installation of this hitch was a snap. The time line was right on the money. I had an older vehichle and I had to drill two holes, but following the instruction guide, this was easily done. Thanks for the wonderful product!......Robert
