The wiring harness was the correct one for my chevy equinox 2012. One help aid was to use a fish tape to grab the wire and pull it up on the second side (passenger side) for the connection.

I cant believe my last two vehicles I paid someone to hook up this wiring for me. It was as easy as changing a bulb! Other then fishing & tying up the cable to the hitch... not that doing that was brain surgery. Great product!

I believe the wiring harness for the 2010 Chevy Equinox from the dealer would have cost $180 and required the computer to be re-programed to accept the wiring. The wiring harness we bought from The Hitch Source cost less than $22, took about 25 minutes to install, and needed no computer re-programing. Now that is what I call convenience and a genuine deal. We are very satisfied with this purchase.
