This item is super easy to install once you find out where the harness is located. Contrary to the instructions enclosed, on my 2004 Subaru Outback, the plug and play harness was located on the right side under the back panel near the wheel. The instruction are wrong when they indicated that this illusive harness was locate on the left side near the rear light. Other than locating it, super easy. It is obvious that the Subaru is a brand that is towing friendly with the manufacturer making it easy for us to add a hitch and wiring harness. Curt is an excellent aftermarket brand.. Enjoy your Subaru as I know I will.
