The following pictures show what the hitch looks on the PT Cruiser. You'll notice that the hitch crossmember is fully hidden behind the bumper. All you see when the hitch is installed is the receiver portion of the hitch that hangs down below the bumper. The ball mount show is included, but the ball itself is sold separately.

Installed easily on my Pt Cruiser in 1/2 hour. The only dissapointment was the packing. The ball mount was taped to the reciever and the powder coat was scratched on the ball mount where the upward bend of the mount rubbed against the receiver.

The trailer hitch fit just as easily as the directions said. I dropped the muffler, tightened 8 bolts and it was on. It took about 35 minutes. If you have a lift, it is even easier.

Excellent quality, fit and finish! Took longer than expected, but had to work in the driveway with my 5 year-old's help. Hardest part was trying to hold it by myself while snaking it over the muffler and behind the bumper cover. Grab a second set of hands as it will make the installation a little easier. Couldn't be more happy with the results, and I saved a substantial amount of money by not taking it to a hitch place.
