This part is an add-on for a 3rd Axle and also requires Comfort Ride Slipper Spring setup for 2 axles that are rated up to 7,000 lb

The Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers may be used on their own, but when used in conjunction with the Comfort Ride Slipper Springs, this two part system will greatly reduce the causes of

• Chucking - towing vehicle is rocked forward and aft when the trailer goes over uneven pavement (dips, frost heaves and the infamous bridge expansion joints)
• Axle roll-up - caused during braking where the trailer's rear tires are lifted enough to cause a loss in traction
• Suspension rebound - where one tire goes over an obstacle, the trailer tips sideways. After the tire clears the obstacle, the leaf springs and the trailer rebound like a pogo stick.

Comfort Ride Slipper Spring System

Further improve performance by adding the Comfort Ride Slipper Spring System. The slipper springs add independent axle operation. In addition to improved ride, independent axles increase braking tire traction by as much as 70 percent because there is no axle roll up that conventional suspensions suffer during hard or panic braking events. The Slipper Spring System is an add-on to the Comfort Ride Shock Absorber System which is required. Shock AND Slipper System install approximately 6 hours. The Comfort Ride Slipper Spring System includes the parts highlighted in green below.

How to determine axle diameter and capacity

• Most axles have an identification tag with the axle capacity and axle diameter
• Measure the axle diameter or circumference
• Contact the RV manufacturer. They can decode your VIN to determine axle diameter and capacity
