Pros:
* Hidden when not in use
* Sturdy attachment
Cons (all dealing with installation):
* Manual images and text are not very clear. Line drawings instead of camera pictures and orientation marks (car front, back, left, right) would help greatly.
* My late December 2015 Model S was a hybrid of the two Model S versions mentioned in the manual.
* I had to drill out an improperly formed hole for one strap mount. And had to drill out misaligned strap holes for both straps.
* The vertical mounting plates are flat, but the mating car part was not - the bottom was recessed by a few millimeters.
Summary:
I'd buy it again. Note - I haven't used the hitch receiver yet.
