Installed these myself on a 2017 Chevy Colorado 4x4 WT short bed. I read the instructions and watched some you-tube videos prior to starting the installation and things went pretty smooth. It took me the better part of a day as I was going slow and taking my time. A few things not covered real well in the instructions for this vehicle: 1. You have to trim the plastic opening where the factory tow hooks come through the front bumper shroud quite a bit more than the instructions indicate, the video I watched did not even mention it. Otherwise, the bolt holes on the bottom don't line up. It was not difficult to do but I had to test and fit about 3 times to get it right. You definitely need a helper for this part to help hold things in place, again, not difficult, just need the extra set of hands. 2. There are a couple of small bolts on the under side of the front shroud that need to be removed to get it off. These were not mentioned in the written instructions but were in the video I watched. Really a minor point and easy to figure out, just like to have instructions complete and accurate as possible. 3. There is a foam "pad" attached by clips in the inside of bumper shroud. The instructions (and video) say to remove it and not reinstall. I was not sure why, so just trimmed a little off the front of it with a coping saw and reinstalled it. Seemed to me that GM had a reason for having it there so put it back. Didn't seem to have any affect on the reinstall.
Just some cautions: be very careful with all the plastic clips, I broke one on the air dam but was able to get a screw and some tie wraps in to take care of it.
Also, when reinstalling the shroud, again with a helper holding, there are two metal clips that are a bit difficult to get aligned. I was able to sit on the floor next to the front tire on each side and reach in through the tire well to get the clips aligned. Once aligned it is a straight push in, but doing it from the front was near impossible.
One more thing, do any wiring and brake connections needed while you have the front shroud off, makes it much easier.
