On 2006 KIA Sportage V6, there are TWO wiring connections under the passenger side rear bumper. The shorter one is the one you use. The longer one's cap comes off easily BUT doesn't match up with the harness. The shorter one's cap is harder to get off because it gets worn on. You REALLY have to pry it off to get to it. No where in the directions does it mention the TWO pigtails and can be frustrating because you dont want to force anything, but pry that cap off and you're good to go. People at CURT (the manufacturing company) didn't even offer that bit of advice. So here's the tip- Good Luck !!
