Product is well made and installation is easy once you get the rear fascia apart. The trick to removing the Touareg tail lights is to wiggle them out as far as you can, get your fingers around the lamp and pull them straight out. I found that after getting three bolts on each side of the hitch threaded part way in the last one was difficult because the hole in the mounting plate was off a hair. I also used the OEM bolts instead of the ones included with the hitch. The OEM bolts are in my opinion "beefier" and I do not plan on towing just using the hitch for a bicycle rack.
