I bought this carrier for the back of my RV to carry a KTM 530 that weighs around 250lbs. I had some difficulty mounting it and had to raise the height of the spare wheel to clear the carrier. This is not a fault of the carrier just something to be aware of. I also bought the gas can attachment but found the spare prevented me placing the gas can in the rack. I think a smaller can might fit but haven't tried yet. It is very easy to load/unload the bike on my own, the platform being at the perfect height at it's lowest point. This would be a problem if your hitch receiver is particularly high. The bike was stable once secured from the handle bars with a cam strap.
