Purchased the front set of Torklift camper tie downs and installed them on my 1997 Dodge 2500. Installation was straight forward with no modifications or redrilling required. The tie downs fit as described in the literature and are very secure. The tie down is virtually out of sight from the outside and the extension looks profesional, is rugged, and will do the job designed for.

The only installation issue was the use of the bolt threader. I'd reccomend that the loop on the end of the wire that holds the thread basket on be a bit larger as it can (and did) pull through the basket leaving the bolt on the inside of the frame. The bolt was easily recovered, but this did take up additional time. I expanded the loop by using a pair of needle nose pliers to spread the loop. This took care of the problem. The bolt threader is not used on the passenger side so once you are done with the fuel tank side, the whole process gets much simpler. Also highly recommend eye protection such as safety glasses, as the bolt threader is spring wire and the end is sharp and could severly damage an eye.

Overall I"m extremely satisfied with the tie downs and looking forward to using my new Fast Guns.
