The converter was easy to install and works well. All electrical connections are well marked. The kit includes sufficient hardware and the trailer lead is a generous length making trailer hookup easy.

This unit worked well on my 2003 Infiniti G35 with LED taillights. The instructions are clear. It does not come with the necessary 10ga wire to run from the trunk to the car's battery. I had to run out & buy that separately. The wire running from the car battery to this unit MUST be protected with an in-line fuse. I made the mistake of temporarily connecting it up without a fuse, intending to get one next time I went to the auto parts store. BIG mistake. The wire shorted while driving, could have caused a fire &/or damaged the car's electrical systems. Fortunately it didn't, but please learn from my mistake.

The mechanic I used to install my hitch actually teased me that what I saved by buying a hitch on the internet, the guy made it back by selling me the fancy electronic converter. He suggested he would just hard wire a flat connector into my wiring. An hour later he called me admitting, "Your guy knows his stuff ... the car's wiring isn't powerful enough." My HitchSource representative saved my frustration and problems.

I was thoroughly impressed with the solid construction, paint job, and general quality of the Curt Manufacturing hitch.

Additionally, HitchSource got it to me in 3 days as promised.

They know their business.
