This conversion kit is the piece for extending a 2" Softride Access Dura, Element, or Versa rack 4" to 8". The extra length allows the bike rack to clear a rear spare tire. To convert your rack you simply remove the lower piece of your bike rack and replace it with this one. The part has a black powder coat finish to match the racks. However, it also fits the pull pin series racks.
