Rvi Gaurantees this brake to fit any vehicle,Additional brackets may be required based on the vehicle, Make sure To include the Year make and model of the Vehicle In the notes section, you are using it on so we can include the proper bracket
Thin and light design RVibrake2 is the smallest and easiest to use auxiliary braking system on the market. Unlike other portable braking systems, RVibrake2's housing pushes against the floor pan (the rise in the floor where the driver’s seat is mounted) in the tow vehicle instead of the soft seat when activating. This allowed RVibrake2 to be designed as small as possible making RVibrake2 easy to install and easy to stow. (15% thinner than RVibrake)
One-Touch Auto Positioning This is truly one of a kind technology. Push the green Auto Start button on RVibrake2’s control panel and watch RVibrake2’s actuator push on the brake pedal 5 times, positioning the housing against the seat pan automatically. RVibrake2’s One-Touch Auto Positioning technology allows for a perfect install every time, no guessing if RVibrake2 was installed properly!
Truly proportional Yes, RVibrake is the only portable braking system that is truly proportional, because it pushes against the solid floor pan and not the seat cushion. The harder you brake in the motor home the harder RVibrake2 pushes on the brake pedal of your towed vehicle. RVibrake2's proportional technology provides smooth operation in moderate braking, or panic braking situations
Wireless Monitor The Wireless Monitor will allow you to make adjustments to RVibrake2's settings while traveling, as well as monitor performance.
Features include: • Bar graph display of when the towed vehicle is braking • Manual Brake Test activation • Towed Vehicle low battery indication • Audible Break-Away alert • Tire Pressures (When enabled)
Lightning Fast Installation 60 second installation 1) Attach the brake pedal clevis onto the brake pedal 2) Plug the power cord into the towed vehicle's 12-volt outlet 3) Press the Auto Start button on the control panel 4) RVibrake2's adjustable actuator will push on the pedal 5 times, moving the housing into the same position every install
Tire Pressure Sensors By simply using RVibrake2's existing communication system the RVibrake Tire Pressure Sensors transmit from the tires to RVibrake2 in the towed vehicle and RVibrake2 transmits to the wireless monitor in the coach. This means there are no hidden costs for a repeater and peace of mind on your towed vehicle.
LOUIE SUMMERALL - 07/13/2013 Rating: This product was available at an excellent price and delivered on time. I had questions about the unit and customer service resolved all my concerns in a fast and professional manner. As of yet I have not used the braking system with my RV but I am sure the system will work well.
Marianne Taylor - 05/10/2013 Rating: We are on our first trip with our new RVI, and we are very pleased. So easy to set up, each time we set off to a new location. All though, our state does not require an auxiliary brake system, we are enjoying the way our overall driving experience feels. Safe and in control!
Jeffrey Ziegler - 09/05/2012 Rating: The RVi Brake arrived on time. The box had some damage, but the components were all in good shape. I was using this low profile brake in my Miata, and it fit very well, but the included stop did not fit. I called the company and true to their word an engineer called me back. They are designing a stop to fit the Miata and will sent it to me.
I mentioned the box being damaged and they said they would address that with shipping.
I found the ordering process very acceptable and the contact with Hitchsource and the RVi brake people excellent!
Stan Denoo - 09/07/2011 Rating: Small, easy to use, and better yet easy to store when not in use.
Installation is very simple, mount the break away swith on the bumper, run its wire thru the firewall, plug it in, and push start.
Small enough the wife can put in on and take it off the tow car. The motor home monitor mounts directly into a power source, but might be better with a suction cup or a sticky tape mount. The dash is getting full of 12 volt plug ins, like sirius radio, tire monitor, gps, and now this.
Tow car antenna is a bit flimsy/cheap and was broken in shipment. It was replaced with just a phone call, and a note that packaging has been changed to avoid antenna damage.
Overall a good looking hi tech piece of hardware.
