Many new trailer hitch designs are utilizing round tubing to form the draw bar between frame attachment points, great for hitches, not so great when it comes to finding a place to mount the electrical plug. The new RTA bracket systems utilize a flat plate compatible with the adhesive back of the Pro Plug connector system and a pair of adjustable saddle type brackets held onto the hitch’s round draw bar tube with band clamps. The bracket systems are designed with multiple adjustments and offsets so that they can be configured to work for many different applications. The brackets and plate are manufactured of rugged 16 guage electro-galvanized steel with powder coat finish and held together with stainless steel hardware for a long lasting installation. The RTA bracket system in available in 2 part numbers, RTA2.0 and RTA2.5 to fit the two common size hitch tubes, 2" and 2.5" |
