The passenger side connector is not the first one you can see, it is hidden down by the brake light. I made the mistake of connecting the new harness to the wrong plug,because it will fit. Once I figured that out it worked fine. I think a little better directions could help. This installation was on a 2007 Rav 4.

I believe the wiring harness for the 2010 Chevy Equinox from the dealer would have cost $180 and required the computer to be re-programed to accept the wiring. The wiring harness we bought from The Hitch Source cost less than $22, took about 25 minutes to install, and needed no computer re-programing. Now that is what I call convenience and a genuine deal. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

This is the updated version of the Curt trailer hitch and it fits perfectly. The previous version pushed up on the Venza bumper, but this one mounts with about 3/8" clearance. Very easy to install and looks great!
