This hitch was as described and of good quality. The only issue we had with installation was with the bolts on the passenger side of the vehicle (vehicle is over 2 yrs old). We saw that someone else recommended threading the bolts on the passenger side before installing the trailer hitch. This is a good suggestion that we forgot. Also, this is definitely a 2 person job unless you have a jack or other means to hold up the trailer hitch. We would definitely recommend this product to others.

Any novice can install, only a few minutes and your done. It's nice not having flimsy straps and wondering if the bikes would hold...

Fairly easy to install. The only tricky part was enlarging a bolt hole. With the right tool it would be easy. Looks good on the car - barely visible.

I purchased my Auto Linx after returning form a trip from California, (I towed a trailer on that trip). I was informed by California's finest, that any vehicle towing a trailer, (including a motorcycle), is required to stay within the 55 mile speed limit while traveling on the interstates! A friend of mine had an Auto Linx that he purchased at a Gold Wing Rally, and we talked about the advantages of having one verses towing a trailer. I was sold on the idea, and I purchased one that week. I found that I could carry about 45 lbs of gear, and still maintain safe handling of the bike, and I was also able to easily keep up with the rest of the traffic .
While traveling cross country, I would stop at a motel for the night, and simply remove it from the bike, and wheel it into the motel room... So Cool!
The apartment complex I moved to in California did not allow trailers on the property! So, this was another great advantage of having the Auto Linx. Once I reached my home away from home,...

All the items in the tow package came quickly and installed very easily. There was not one problem, although I did need to get an 18mm socket to remove the exiting bolts. But that was my problem. Thanks hitchsource for a great product.
