The product is great. I installed the hitch myself. The hitch it fit the frame perfectly. However, my 2011 Q5 was the S line version and the instructions (as well as online youtube videos) are all for the non S line version. The S line and non S Line have different rear bumper skirts, once I figured that out I was able to complete the job with little problem.
If you have a set of socket wrenches and some patience I would estimate the job would take 3 hours for a non professional to complete. The U bolt installation was the trickiest part of the installation, (two people would make things go smoother in order to hold and align the hitch in place as it is placed over the U bolts).
