Overview:
The Navigator 1 electronic brake controller features a patented sensing device that automatically monitors and measures tow vehicle deceleration and applies the trailer brakes in direct proportion. It reacts instantly to any change in brake pedal pressure and ensures controlled, smooth stops. Trailer and tow vehicle stoplights also operate automatically when the manual lever or trailer brakes are applied.
Technology:
The Navigator 1 brake controller contains a pendulum sensing device using Hall Effect Technology to automatically monitor and measure tow vehicle deceleration to provide smooth, proportional trailer braking. The Navigator 1 reacts instantly to any change due to brake pedal effort to apply trailer brakes at the same rate as the tow vehicle brakes and is capable of panic stopping.
