Wow - one word says it all. I'm very mechanically inclined. It took me 3 hrs to take the parts off and then add the new hitch. The existing plastic snaps don’t come off easy either. On a scale of 1-5 5=difficult), this was a level 3.5. I was very nervous in cutting the plastic body piece for the under carriage. This was required to for clearance on the new hitch. Very solid unit! The hitch had to be man handled to get it to align with the bolt holes. The tube bending was probably not setup correctly and the checking fixture as well. It looked to me that the tube was bent but it flexed back and out of tolerance.
