Great hitch. It took only 30 min to install with out a lift.
I found a video on line that showed the whole process
and this made it a snap. No surprises. Every thing lined right up.
Excellent choice.

Outstanding trailer hitch! Shipping was much quicker than expected, and installation was maybe 30 minutes, by myself. A little soap and water on the muffler mounts (outboard first, they are different) worked wonders. I really liked not having to cut into my CRV bumper. I did take the bumper off previously to install the wiring for a trailer hitch - that's not included in the 30 minute install time as some folks won't even need the wiring.
I now have a great way to carry bikes without trying to stuff them inside.

The reviews I read were "spot on." The most difficult part was getting the muffler out of the way. I would suggest you include lock washers with your kit though.

Very fast service.
The hitch installation was easy on my Honda CRV. Did it myself in about 30 minutes.
Using dish soap on the muffler hangers is a big help removing them from the brackets.

I have zero mechanical skills. Installed this in a flash! Is was as easy as other reviews have stated and believe me, it's never as easy as someone tells me. This is a really solid good looking hitch for the CR-V.

Excellent trailer hitch, it actually is really easy to install, took me about 30 min. with no specialized tools. Fits like a glove and very solid. Highly recommended!

The CURT class III is a perfect fit and hitch for my CRV. From start to finish it only took 30 minutes to install. That's right - 30 minutes and that includes pick-up of all tools. Spray the rubber muffler hangers with WD-40. It will slip out easily.
The 12mm deep socket is needed for the muffler-tailpipe removal ( use a 3/8" ratchet, a little tight but do the bottom first and then the top one ). Place hitch on the hydralic jack and lift to position. Place the 11/16 bolts in place and tigthen to spec.
Electric impact wrench makes the job easy.
Hitch Source is great and very efficient. Both of my orders came in quickly and in just perfect shape. Two thumbs up for me.

The hitch was delivered promptly and installation was quick and easy. The most difficult part was separating the muffler hanger brackets from the rubber hangers. However, even this was without difficulty with a squirt of rubbing alcohol. I am very pleased with the hitch for my Honda CR-V!

Fantastic hitch!
Install went like a dream and in less than 30 minutes total time on the CRV.
Suggest Silicone spray on mufflers rubber brackets to provide quick removal and replacement with little effort.

Better than I expected. Saved a lot of money. My CR-V 08 is a little difFerent from others I suppose. It took me some time to figure out how to lower the muffler. In fact, the muffler is affixed to the frame va rubber hangers, not nuts and bolts. The other thing is you will need two persons to do the job.
