Bought the 4" hi-low receiver adapter to use in the raised position to level my tow bar. It is super heavy duty. It does extent the hitch about 12" further back. That is good if you need more clearance when turning. Be aware that it also may require longer safety chains and towed wiring. I didn't need the extra clearance and drilled new holes so that the adapter would slide in an additional 5". This made all my safety chains and wiring work nicely.
Just got back from a 500 mile trip and the "Hi-Low Hitch" worked out well. The tow bar between the RV and the toad is now level (within 2-3" at ride height). Happy Camper!
