This support replaces the standard 2" lower section of the Draftmaster bike racks to make them compatible with 1.25" hitches. This is the preferred method of adapting to a 1.25" hitch, as it does not extend the rack away from the vehicle further than normal. To install this piece, you simply remove the lower bolts from the rack and remove the 2" piece and replace it with the components in this kit.

Note:This adapter should only be used on Class II hitches. Class I hitches do not have sufficient strength to support a Draftmaster rack and bikes.
