Cannot review this, mine was backordered and I found one locally. No issue with a refund though, great to do business with HitchSource.

I just purchased this and installed this harness with a Curt hitch on my '06 Pilot. The instructions are a bit vague but I had seen some pics of a similar installation on the Honda Pilot Forum and was able to figure it out from there. The two existing plastic frame plugs/grommets need to be cut to fit the wires through. Also, some care needs to be taken when locating a spot to fasten the adapter so it doesn't interfere with the plastic sill plate when you re-install it. I hope this doesn't maker the install sound difficult but it did require some thought and additional research above what the instructions offered. Overall I am happy with the product.

I ordered the harness for a 2004 Honda Pilot. They shipped it fast. It works great! It was easy to install. The only way it could be better is if the directions were more specific about routing the wires and the location to attach the module. So.... here's my help on those items:

For attaching the module, there is a spot on the rear sill, under the sill cover, towards the left side of the vehicle where it fits nicely. After you pop off the sill cover, there's a screw hole in the metal of the car near the wire connector. It seems that it was meant for the hole in the module. The plastic rear sill cover is made to fit around the module if it is mounted there. Check the underside of the sill cover and you'll see the spot that will easily fit over the module.

As for routing the wires, I found that Honda has some plastic covers about an inch in diameter that seal some holes that allow one to route the wires from inside the car through the frame to the outside of the vehicle. All that needs to be done is a few easy mods to the plastic covers. I just made a hole and a slit in the plastic cover, put the wires through it, and put the cover back in place on the vehicle. A little silicone sealant around the wires where they come through the cover and it's watertight again!

This wiring harness is very easy to install, once you find the connector hidden under the cargo hatch of the Honda Pilot. No splicing. Very neat intall.

I purchased the connector for a 2001 Acura MDX, which is similar to the Honda Pilot. The t-connector has no instructions on where to locate the connection point to the vehicle electrical system for either an MDX or a Honda Pilot. I had copied Acura's instructions on how to install the t-connector from some website a couple years ago, so I was able to get it installed without a problem. It should come with two grommets for the wires, as they are fed through two large holes from inside the car into the frame, and then out of the frame. Need the grommets to keep water out of the interior of the car.

Connector itself fit perfectly and has plenty of wire to attach to the trailer. No complaints with the unit itself, just the lack of instructions for these vehicles.
