I managed to have the hitch installed in less than 2 hours, in my garage.
Removing the exhaust supports would probbaly make the instalation easyer, but I could see a lot of trouble putting them back on especially when working on your back under the car ...
So after removing the first one, I decided not to go that way, and I used a ratcheting wrench wich made the work possible without lowering the exhaust. A bit of effort, but it is doable. Even with the exhaust lowered, I can see using a rachet being difficult... So my advice, try to get proper tools, and avoid lowering the exhaust.
