HitchSource.com is based out of Hood River, OR. It was founded in 2003 by two friends looking for a way to earn a living and move to a place where they can do the things they enjoy – mountainbiking, windsurfing, snowboarding, and the great outdoors.
HitchSource.com has come a long way in five short years. As one of the leading trailer hitch retailers online, we attribute our success to our customers. Without you this would not be possible. Our customers have provided feedback, photos, and reviews. We take this feedback to heart and use it to improve our products and services. We encourage our customers to email or pick up the phone to talk to one of our customer service representatives.
This blog is a way for us to share what we know and help customers identify the products that provide the best user experience. Our mission is to provide customers with input and guidance so they can get the right products and feel comfortable with installing or using the products once they arrive.

Having spent over a decade designing, building, and marketing semiconductor manufacturing equipment, he founded HitchSource.com as a way to get back to basics and to enjoy life and family. He enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, kiteboarding, golfing, and windsurfing. With two small children, Ken wants to pass on the love of the outdoors to his kids.
Joe Cooper – AKA JoeC – Customer Service Manager
Joe is a long time automotive enthusiast and restorer. He enjoys working on his Model T, is a white water rafter, and a snowskater in the Winter. With a broad background in construction, raft guiding, snowboard instruction, and software sales, Joe brings a great experience base and relates well with customers.
