I bought Curt 11207 for my 2000 Honda Civic Coupe. Service was good, the hitch was well made and fit perfectly, but the instructions were poor. On this vehicle, you can't get the bolts and square-hole plates into the frame channel. The bumper attaches in the channel and doesn't leave enough room to maneuver the pieces. After 30 minutes of trying with the fishwire, I decided to just remove the bumper. Then it was easy: 30 minutes to remove the bumper, install the hitch, and reattach the bumper (10 minutes each).
The bumper has a plastic shell held on by 2 Phillips screws near each rear tire, five plastic pop-its along the edge of the trunk, and a couple underneath. The bumper itself is held by four 17mm bolts inside the trunk. Then the... Read More
