This towbar baseplate is designed to fit the following vehicles:


2007-2012 JEEP Wrangler (All Models)
Installation Time: 2 Hours
Notes:
--Bumper fascia must be removed and replaced during installation.
--Requires some drilling (not major).
--Requires some trimming of the belly pan.
--Use only with motorhome mount tow bars or the BX8833 or BX88151 adapters. Removable tabs with only one hole will not attach to car mount tow bars or other adapters. The Acclaim may only be used with removable tab baseplates that have 22" or greater spaced tabs. The Adventurer may be used with baseplates having 24"-40" spaced removable tabs. The Ambassador may only be used with 24" spaced removable tabs.
--The BX88152 adapter can not be used with this baseplate.

The base plate fit perfectly and was simple to install following the instructions. The shipping container could have been a little more robust. It was torn at both ends but only the plastic caps were missing. UPS did tape up the box at one point in its journey.

I cannot speak to the towing experience yet, as I have not been fortunate enough to have an opportunity to tow my Jeep, but I did install the base plate to get ready. I expect all to go well.
As far as installation, the instructions were very easy to understand. I worked alone, took my time, and followed the instructions step by step. I did not jack up the Jeep, just did it all in my driveway, in front of the garage.
Only change was, that for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler, I did not have to do any metal cutting. Once the bumper was off, I just clamped the base plate in place, drilled the holes, and bolted it in. Then followed the reassembly and final steps for the bumper and it was done.
