I purchased the Blue Ox BX1123 base plate to put on a Jeep 2005 Grand Cherokee. I liked the design of this base plate because it was a complete unit, completely welded together, which I believe will provide for a more secure hitch point. The price, including shipping, was the cheapest I could find on line. Delivery was quick. The instructions included were easy to follow with illustrations and the required tools listed. The fit for the base plate onto the Jeep was perfect, very close tolerances. Installation required drilling 8 holes. One recommendation I would make is for Blue Ox to include RED loctite, as I had to make a trip to the store to get it. Other then that I had no problems putting it on and with the hitch attachments removed the baseplate is hardly noticable.
